CAA Artist Trading Card Exchange

Every two months CAA holds an Artist Trading Card (ATC) exchange by mail. CAA members are invited to participate in this fun program.

What's are ATCs?

ATCs are 2½" by 3½" cards that are made to be traded. Almost any media can be used to create ATCs: watercolor, oils, acrylics, crayons, colored pencils, pen & ink; collage, low-profile assemblage, and other mixed media. Anything goes as long as the cards are thin enough to fit inside a standard plastic trading-card sleeve. Cards can be a series of closely identical artworks or each card can be unique. The backs of ATCs often have information about the artist.

How to participate

Make 4 ATCs using the theme listed below and mail them by the due date. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE). Make sure your postage covers the cards you're sending (most will cost the same as a standard first-class letter). The week after the due date you will receive 4 ATCs in the mail, made by CAA members.
